This card is for several Dare to Get Dirty Challenges, as well as this week's Play Date Cafe (Dublin-Style colors of Black, Grey, Kraft & Ivory), Unscripted Sketch Challenge & Res-Q Challenge.
I started by detail cutting an ornate frame from a Hambly Frame Wallpaper Overlay that I've had for a long time (the sanity of this decision was questioned several times during the rather tedious process ... but the end result was exactly what I was hoping for), so this works for DTGD10gbedwright Strut Ur Stuff Challenge.
Next, I stamped one of the holiday collage images from Tim Holtz Holiday Collections on Basic Grey Manilla paper and trimmed it slightly larger than the opening in the frame, so I could adhere without any adhesive showing.
Hero Arts Stunning Snowflakes background was stamped in Momento London Fog ink on a texty piece of Basic Grey Manilla Paper. Next, I added several Marah Johnson Black snowflake rub-ons to pull more of that dark black color of the frame into the design.
I finished with grey bracket punched borders, three Martha Stewart punched snowflakes (with sparkly half-circle centers) - for Cindy's DTGD10cindy_haffner Die Cuts & Punches Challenge - and a sentiment from CatsLife Press. My holiday design works for DTGD10BevMom02 Winter Wonderland Challenge as well.

Stef....the FRAME is fabulous and it really is the first thing I noticed. It just makes the card pop! Your hard work and usage of this much kept frame is fabulous! Wonderful card and design! Thanks so much for playing in my DTGD Challenge!

Oh me, oh my, that frame!! I would have been cursing up a storm trying to cut that out! It was well worth the effort though, I love the entire card! I never would have thought "Christmas" when I saw that color combo, but you made it ROCK!
