I wanted something different from my usual for my son's birthday card, so borrowed the Gina K set and attempted to case Theresa Momber's sponged/masked card. I actually liked my card better than my photo. This is my first attempt at a sponged scene and for masking, so Theresa might not have recognized it as a case, LOL, but you can check out her beautiful creation here: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_86xJXEAxUj...olden-Pond.jpg
I didn't have the inks she used, so improvised those, I added a metalic copper panel, embossed a birthday sentiment in copper and used different plant stamps in the foreground. I drew in birds just cause I had a boo boo to cover :+) Theresa's work is beautiful and I so appreciate her doing a tutorial to share her talent. Thanks for looking.

This is fabulous...and it's your first try at sponging and masking? Sure looks good to me! Theresa Momber sure does fascinating scenes. But you should be proud of this work of art you've created. TFS. : )

This is beautiful! I'm also trying my hand at masking and brayer and sponge work, to create scenes. It's not as easy as it looks, is it?! You did a terrific job.
