A few weeks ago our local stamping group made cards to donate to the VFW to send to the troops. This is the card I designed. I put special effort into it, because I have very strong feelings about the special jobs and sacrifices our soldiers commit themselves to doing for us and for our country.
I wrote the poem, drew the flag that is underneath the vellum, and drew the army boots on the front. I printed the poem on the computer in dark blue ink on vellum and then embossed it with clear embossing powder.
I made a collage on both of the inside pages, using a variety of techniques.
