This is my card for flowergal36's challenge and also another one for gbedwright's also. It's also for the current ODBD challenge to use a coloured image.
It's exceptional for me to have this much new stuff to play with in one day - the ODBD stamp AND the grunge paper. Sheesh, nobody ever told me how bad it stinks!!
5 3/4" base. Green Bazzill stamped with a pine branch from Kodomo in green ink, then embossed with canvas mesh and stitched.
StampMuse sent me some gorgeous sheets of wood veneer which I am so afraid of using, but this time I even punched it as well as stamping it with Weathered in Walnut Stain.
Image is from ODBD, stamped on watercolour paper, coloured with distress inks and cut with Nestabilities.
My snowflake is one layer of grunge paper cut with a Spellbinders die, embossed with D'vine Swirl, inked with Versamark and embossed with gold EP. Then I added a copper brad, and a copper half pearl, with tiny pearls in each of the other corners. I wrapped some gold cord round the wooden strip and then randomly round the card. This counts towards my CCC10 quote too - two birds with one stone ;-).
