Here's a quick card I made (only about 15 minutes) for CAS76: ravengirl's sketch.
Thanks for giving us a great, simple sketch to work with! I don't often make square cards (no envies), but I really like the look.
My card is 4.25 x 4.25.
Even though this card has several elements, I kept the lines all clean (grr...got my mat on crooked), and didn't do ANY stamping.
For the flower, I used 5 5-petal flower punch outs, poked holes using my piercing tool, and linked them together with a brad. Then I kind of folded the top few up a bit, to give dimension.
The lacy border and a couple strips of coordinating cs completed my horizontal line.
I'd like to try this sketch again with a completely different look, maybe the shabby ravengirl started out with.
Thanks for a great challenge, and I enjoy and appreciate any and all comments!

After reading your cardmaking experience in semi-darkness, I couldn't wait to see your card. LOL. You did a terrific job. The colors are so pretty, the papers line up straight, and your punching is perfect. Very nice!
