Good morning everyone and welcome to the first day of Dirty challenges!!!! I made this sample card for Kittie's Lost and Found challenge this morning.
I decided to use a sprig of Boxwood...the shrubs look great after they have been trimmed but the trimmed pieces on the ground just go in the trash...what a waste!! There are so many beautiful things in nature we could use on our projects. I even salvaged the twine from around a coffee can used to store grass seed...I wonder if my DH will notice it's gone...LOL!!!
My card uses a floral image from Rubbernecker's new release Florals......it was stamped along with the sentiment from Rubbernecker's Fall Trilogy set with Versamark and embossed with white opaque embossing powder. Sewing was done around the edges of the layers and then the edges were distressed. TFL and have fun today!!!
I love the little sprig of boxwood tucked in on this card, Joan! It is so earthy and is a perfect embellishment for the images you used. LOL! Poor George won't even notice thw twine is gone.

Oh so lovely, Joan! I hope there isn't a 'splosion of grass seed when your husband goes to grab that can! Well, truly, it would be worth it because this card NEEDED the twine...it's the perfect finishing touch. LOVE how you used that real sprig, must remember to search outside for future embellies...you are on a roll with challenges and nature, what with your TLC the other day and now THIS, woo hoo!
