I am totally obsessed with the Polished Stone technique now. If only I could do the walls in my house like this.
Actually this is a variation of Polished Stone. And per several request, here are the instructions: First I put a couple of drops of reinker on a cotton ball then began radomly pressing onto Glossy CS. Then go to the next color and so on until the entire piece of CS is covered. Then I put alcohol on a cotton ball and a couple of drops of metallic reinker. Then randomly press on CS until you get the coverage of metallic you want. I would add more alcohol if needed to help move the ink around. Once you have achieved your desired look, seal with Acrylic Sealer.
As for the Watercoloring the only thing I did different is restamped the image once I finished watercoloring to help define the edges more, since the ink fades on the Watercolor Paper.
Thanks for everyones generous comments!

This is so GORGEOUS!! The polished stone is absolutely wonderful and the lily takes my breath away. One of the prettiest cards I have ever seen. I would love to be able to watercolor like this, but I do not get along with the tech. TFS

This is just beautiful.............I loved it as a thumbnail, then was speechless when I saw it full size! Can you tell us how you did this? I know how to do polished stone, but this looks layered and very difficult.

Wow - polished stone has never looked like this! You should call it Metz Stone. And I wouldn't even begin to know how you watercolored that Calla Lily - it's even more luminous than the background. I love how the More Mustard warms up the Bravo Burgundy - great combination. Simply amazing what you did here. TFS. Linda
