This card was made in response to the Inspiration Challenge for the Blue Carrot website. Some vegetable labels on that site caught my eye and reminded me of this stamp set I just acquired on EBay. This card also works for the Free 4 All challenge to use your most recent thing you haven't used yet. Although this SU set is long retired, I purchased it just recently and it is new to me. It was unmounted, so I had to put the set together to use it for this card. Glad to have the nudge to get that done. On the card base, I stamped the Linen stamp in So Saffron and the Stipple Plaid stamp in Baja Breeze. The Baja over the Saffron changed the Baja color enough to look more like Sage Shadow. That was interesting. So, I proceeded from that point to use the newly retired Sage Shadow. The rest is history. Tried for a country, rustic look. Did some sponging with Creamy Carmel and stamped a bit with the speckle stamp from Itty Bitty Backgrounds set. TFL Happy Stampin'.

I just love the background of the card....I never would have thought to do a combination of the linen and the plaid background stamp. I'll have to remember that idea. Nice job all around. This is going in my favorites!
