This is the 2nd card I have made for the CAS75 Challenge here on SCS of "Dry embossing" - see this link for the deets: Forums at Splitcoaststampers I have been wanting to make an all white Christmas card with no stamping (which is really hard for me) so I pulled out my new CB ornaments folder from the CB Winter Wonderland folder set and set about trying to make a quick and simple Christmas card that I can mass-produce, and this is what I came up with.
I corner-punched the cs before I did the embossing. After I embossed the ornaments, I made two score lines down each side, then used my Swiss dots ef. By doing the score lines first, it makes it easy to butt the dots ef up against the line so you know it's straight. Then I simply added white organza ribbon and glued on a red sparkly brad just to add some pizazz (I cut off the prongs because I couldn't wrap the prongs around the bow neatly without it showing, so it was much quicker and easier to just cut them off and glue the star on instead).
I also made this card for this week's ABC Christmas Challenge Blog of "O for Ornaments". I have more details about this on my Blog.
