I think that at last I've made a card when I can make a more is more version without overdoing it. It wasn't at all what I had in mind when I saw the sketch this morning, but I'd admired a couple of sponged OLC cards recently - one of ejkeaton's, and one of stampingmathilda's come to mind. Hopefully I'll have time tonight to make my more is more :D.
A2 white base. I printed off the sketch and used it to cut my masks for sponging.
First was the image, stamped in Versamark, embossed with silver EP and sponged with Spun Sugar and Worn Lipstick.
Next was the black strip, sponged with Soot Black, then stamped with Weathered in Versamark and embossed with clear EP, just to add some texture.
Last was the French Script, stamped in Versafine Black and sponged with Tumbled Glass and Peeled Paint round the edges. I doodled a frame round the image panel and added 3 black gems.

Oh that embossing looks so rich! Nicely done!!
I am so jealous that you are going up north this weekend.
We have been looking at our pictures (and my calendar by my computer is on Leitrim and Sligo right now) and wishing we were back so often! Have a wonderful time!
