So what do you do when your kid sucks at a school subject - you get a tutor. Mark is the best at sports better than the best jock at school and he will single handedly get Sam in shape to accept the scholarship. So if she fools them with a few slam dunks I guess she won't be shaving her legs through University and I won't even touch on the rest. No scholarship is worth having to hang out in the rancid locker room.
Enter Mark, (This isn't part of the plot) this child who has never hurt a soul in his tender years has been diagnosed with cancer and this card is to cheer him up as he goes through cancer. Inside I sent a story about the history of basketball, all you sports history buffs (laugh, chortle) probably know that basketball was invented by a Canadian (fact).

My, I don't have any shoelaces that fancy!!
Actually, what I want to say is that lovely colourful banner has been catching my all along as I've been catching up on all the cards since last night. It looks fab against the denim background.
Sports buffs ha ha, that's why we all have so many sport-related stamps, yes? When I was in school we didn't even have basketball as an option, it was hockey or netball.

I love your tutorial, slam dunk in the making on your card! Sam is more of a visual person and this no doubt will paint the picture....ball goes in basket.....crowd roars......sports agent happy and gets contract! Pretty darn simple don't you think?
Forgot to say something about the denim! I love it!
I admire your persistance to get to the party! Whoot! Mark will love it!!! And I agree, he makes the perfect TUTOR!!!

What a terrific card for Mark! I love the Go Mark Go banner, the cool denim dp, and your idea for the basketball story. I've been struggling about what to write on the inside of my card to Mark as I feel the way you do; it always breaks my heart whenever I hear of an innocent child being diagnosed with cancer.
