Joan, thank you for the push to try something new. I started my card with ink spray and smash and then ran it through my dotted swiss embossing folder. I then layed my Layers of Color stencil over the paper. I used my versamark pad to ink up the open spaces of the stencil. I then added gold ep and heat embossed. I also stamped some Layers of Color music notes and finished the card off with a Layers of Color butterfly with glamour dust. This is for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge to make a card that represents relaxation and rest to you. I always feel rested after creating so that alone would help this card qualify for the challenge. It also has music notes on it. I love listening to gospel, contemporary christian music to relax me. This card is going to go to a lady who is giving me rest this week. My son's are at scout camp and my friend Ardy is being MOM to my boys as well as 18 other boys. She is cooking all the meals and sacrificing her nice soft bed so that I can have a week of quiet. I'm going to try and get this in the mail today so she can get it delivered to her at the camp.
