todays inspiration challenge site is Blue Carrot. this theme and colors are my inspiration.
water and boats.
I drew this boat after watching a tutorial suggested by Peggy~Marilynn Preston. Peggys Card
I fell in love with the boat card she made the other day. and just had to try my hand at drawing one.
I stamped the the sand, then the grasses, and did a little sponging to add depth, sponged the water and sky, then stamped a cloud stamp, and drew in some water waves with a blue marker then added some white caps with a gel pen.
then stamped the fence on the card then again to color and cut out.. I used small jute for the rope to tie up the boat.
the fence and boat are colored with prisma pencils and gamsol.
Hope you like it!
thanks for stopping by~ have a great day!

What a really lovely seaside scene - I always love to see them. And with that rather cold looking sea and cloudy sky, it could certainly be something I'd see here. I really like the layered up fencing, and the jute *rope*. I just rescued some twine like that from a couple of bunches of rhubarb.

This scene is amazing - you can almost smell the sea air!! Love the grass layered there, the "rope", the fabulous fence, and the sea/sky you created - wonderful!
