I was inspired by all the Books on the Blue Carrot site. If you are Canadian and grew up in the 50's you may remember this childrens character from the Eatons Christmas Catalogue. "All the kids" had to have something with this cute little face on it. I searched the net and found this image. Used Boho Backgrounds and a dollar sentiment. How cute, and tragic looking. Easy to tell you were inspired by those books. I looked through them carefully hoping to find one we used to have that I am sure came from Canada when my mother moved here - no luck, though.
Adorable! Great take on the inspiration! LOve your paper and heart charm. That sentiment is perfect too. I like the "sad little bear". Like I said, the card is adorable.
