This is for WT278 Yellow Sunshine and we were to use the color yellow in our project. I read the challenge on my lunch break today and thought about trying my hand when I got home at a watercolored sunrise or sun set over the ocean. I gave it a try and it was a bigger challenge than I thought trying to create the appearance of the sun in a dark sky with dark water and trying to give the appearance of light. I have some ugly water marks from where I got a little carried away trying to add color but I had worked hard on it and wanted to share.

Kittie, I love your w/c scene here. Your sun is gorgeous. Those waves, I have to admit, made me a tad motion sick. See how real they are! hehe This is just super lovely and is so suitable for framing. LOVE it! You are one talented lady. TFS :0)

I'm going to go with sunrise, but only because of that old saying... red sky in morning, sailors take warning. You've really captured a stormy sea and sky. The colors of the sky and water are fantastic, and I absolutely LOVE the whitecaps on your waves. Awesome!
