You know how I've told you I was challenged by being away from all my goodies? Well when I saw the color challenge last night, I thought - too bad for me. I don't have those colors with me. But when I woke up this morning, I remembered a paper pack I bought at Hobby Lobby yesterday and - lo and behold - here is the paper that has the CC colors in it. Well, close enough anyway, don't you think?
I stamped the Camellia from a new set being released a week from today by Mark's Finest Papers called Apples & Camellia! I colored it with Copic markers and cut it out. That is mounted onto a Spellbinders Fancy Tag and popped up on the, I'll call it Saffron ribbon. hee hee hee. The sentiment is stamped onto white and again colored with Copic markers, and cut/embossed with Spellbinders Deckled oval. See the dots? I added just a touch of polka dot ribbon to make it fit the Teapot Tuesday challenge and it is off to Sweet Sue. See the Teapot Tuesday challenge for more info about that.
Thanks for looking!

Karen, this is so pretty and putting that lovely camellia as the center focus of your card was awesome.

Works for me - what pretty paper; great coloring too, Karen! I just go home from a visit with family and can't find my mojo. Hope it comes home pretty soon. Are you enjoying that child?? I brought one home with me!

Hi Karen! So glad to see you at a teaparty! I owe a big ole thank you to that little swatch of polka dotted ribbon for being available to get you to the party! Giggle! Sue will love this lovely little card......and to think you pulled it off without being around all your *stuff*! Woot!
Love that you are here....lemme give you the scoop. Bertie loves to throw stuff, the teapotters fight over special treats, sometimes our critters have issues with other critters, and sometimes we make a card or two that we just really don't know what to do with!!! Other than that, we have a great time on Tuesday!!
At least you know what to do with this awesome card...Lucky Sue, she will love it!! I love the beautiful rose!
