Well, I'm about 4 Queens behind at the moment - I can't let the situation get any worse. I needed a card that was really quick to make today. We attended a 50th Anniversary celebration for a couple from our church. I did a gallery search for "etsdas" and "anniversary" and discovered this anniversary card and let it be my inspiration. I now realize it was a CASE but it's too late to change that so thanks to Dorothy and thanks to Diane (minnidr) for her original...
The gold paper is a piece that was in a Birthday RAK from Anne Ryan. I have had it (and the other scrumptious papers she sent) sitting on my desk since March, unable to cut into them. I often look through the papers and sigh at just how fabulous it really is (I'm still talking about the paper Anne)...but I haven't been able to cut it. Today, I did it!!! I figured gold for a 50th anniversary was reason enough. Now my MS punch took a bit of convincing that it could actually punch through it, but with a little extra pressure I won the contest.
A couple of Verve stamps, some gold ink and embossing powder...a touch of marker and a few quick layers....
Thanks for the wonderful array of cards you've shared in your gallery Dorothy - and thanks for the thousands upon thousands of comments you have left for other SCSers. Enjoy the crown!
Thanks for stopping by my little corner of this giant gallery!
Punches: One punch, 3 times. Is that enough to get me out of my Time Out Kookzi?

Thank you for your kind comments, and for making this day special with the lovely card you have created. I see it is almost a year old - amazing how many people are going back a while. I like this one a lot, and will probably case it as well! that flower is lovely, as is the sentiment font. Time to head out the door for church...

Wowee, Heather, you hit the jackpot with this card - Case of a CASE or whatever - this one is the BOMB!! That rich look of the gold DP you've been hoarding, layered ever so perfectly - this will be their favorite card of all at the 50th anniversary!!
Dorothy's card was amazing enough already, but the gold 50th spin was a stroke of genius. Great job!!
Dorothy, you have inspired us so wonderfully, thanks for all you shared!! Congrats again!

What lovely gold paper--perfect for a 50th anniversary card, which you've CASEd from the Queen ever so nicely. That double loop punch dresses this way up. A super special card for a super special event. Nicely done, Izzy
