When I saw Dorothy's card, I immediately knew not only did I have the stamps I wanted to use, but this week's "passionate" colors would work perfectly. The sentiment "live with passion" is from SU's Inspired by Nature. And I thought what better way to use this sentiment than with a lady traveling the world! I flipped the card vertically, used "passionate" colors, and used a bow rather than a brad on my ribbon.
I think I'm going to give this card to my parents, who are 88 years young, and left for Florida today to celebrate a friend's 90th birthday. What a great way to welcome them home - it should be in their mail when they return.
Thanks, Dorothy, for the inspiration; and thanks, Betty, for the passionate color challenge!

Barbie, thank you for your comments and helping me celebrate today. This is a technique I really like with certain stamps, and it certainly works with yours. You did a great job on the color challenge as well. It is great your parents can still enjoy traveling - and they should enjoy this card.

Wonderful image and I love the red/pink direct to paper technique right over the image. Perfect technique for the vintage collage image. Great card and I am sure your parents will love it.
