I made another for today's challenge: to use stars and something gold. All images are DRS Designs. I started out wanting to make this a round card and couldn't find the right size template. Then I remembered all the Coluzzle doodads I have and haven't used since I discovered Spellbinders. The largest circle is the perfect size. The card measures right about 4.25 round so it'll fit in an A2 envelope.
I cut the card and a smaller size for the blue brayered layer. I stamped the star bg w/ Starlight silver on top. Spellbinders circles were used for the earth and sentiment (moon). On the planet circle, I just drew a quick, cartoony earth and colored it with markers. Stamped the image, then stamped it again on scrap white and on metallic gold. Colored and paper pieced them together. (That little Astro space dog is probably the smallest thing I've ever paper pieced.)
Everything is put together on my circle card. One of the hardest things about this card, was taking the picture. It's hard to keep a round card from rolling away.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.
