Hi! This card was made for today's Ways To Use It Challenge: July 4th Color Challenge-no red, white or blue..Now, you could use white, but I used cream. (You could also make a Card for the Canandian Celebration or a patriotic card for any country. I chose USA, because, I live in the USA.)
I love "non-traditional" cards of any sort, and trying to choose a color combo to go with this eagle was tough. However, earthtones seems the best bet, as they really help this image pop.
This is a MEGA sneak peek of a set going to be released in AUGUST! I know...It's a long way off, but well worth the wait. And, there is a reason for it being released that late...My son will ship out to an undisclosed location with the Army in August. So, it was decided that we would hold this set until then, as a reminder to us all. Heck, everyone thinks about our country, and the people who serve on July 4...but in August? Hence the later release.
However, I REALLY wanted to use this set today. I stamped the Regal and Proud eagle in Palette Noir and used Memento grey and yellow/orange markers to highlight. The Sneak Peek Background stamp was used in several areas to add texture.
I added in the flag charm and the designer brads for more texture.

This is absolutely wonderful. You're right, we forget to remember those who serve all day every day and the families that love them and wait at home! God Bless America!
This is soooo patriotic, even w/o the red, blue, and white! Love your eagle, flag, and buttons! I am sure it would take me more than 29 minutes, but worth if it took a couple of hours! You definetly nailed the challenge!
