Thank you, Joan for hosting the TLC Challenge today! This technique was quite different and I thought I should really give it a try... glad I did, but not sure I'll try it again!
I APOLOGIZE for this card! I have NO idea how my vision ended up here, but it did! I wasted far too much time on it NOT to upload!
Hope someone out there thinks it was worth it!
I used the pounding flower technique on the oval piece under the bow and stamped on of the leaves from Lexicon of Leaves, by SU!
I made my pansy using this technique a friend found on Youtube and shared with me:

Oh my gosh Jenna, your card is MOST beautiful!!! I was thinking how much I liked this before I read your thoughts. I bet you were like me today - spending so much time and just not thinking the results were as good as all of the time spent. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I personally really love what you have done here. You have a clean look with also a bit of a Victorian feel with the flowers. I LOVE it. Maybe you will like it more in a few days when you're not so exhausted with it. :>)

No apologies necessary for this little beauty! It's a wonderful card - I smooshed many flowers today and some results were just plain awful! Fun technique though! Your card is a beauty though so don't be thinkin' otherwise!

Jenna, you did well! Beautiful card and pansy and your pounded flowers are so delicate looking. How nice you carried the polka dots theme onto your tag!

This was certainly worth uploading, Jenna! Not just for that gorgeous butterfly pansy, but your lovely pounded flowers panel too.
I always think it's good to try these new techniques - some become personal favourites and some are - well, try them once . To be honest I think this one is in the latter category for me, but I have been blown away by some of the cards in the gallery, so maybe we shouldn't write it off.
