This is my card for VLV week 5. I was inspired by the first bedroom because I realized that it would allow me to use up a package of yellow felt flowers that I have had in my stash for waaaay too long! The green polka dot paper has a little bit of glitter on the dots which doesn't show up well in the photo. I layered paper flowers with the felt flowers until I managed to use up the 4 large and 4 small felt flowers. (I didn't want any leftovers!) The centers of the flowers are daisy buttons from my stash; I believe they are from the "Favorite Findings" craft buttons. I topped them off with some pearls. The center in the sketch was supposed to be an oval shape, and when I was playing with the pieces, the oval just didn't work, so I changed to a circle. It was just fighting the circle shapes from the flowers and the embossed panel. I used Verve's "Thankful Accents" to stamp the frame and then another Verve set "Let it Shine" for the sentiment. The yellow panel is embossed using a Cuttlebug folder. There's a little bit of yellow velvet ribbon to finish the bottom. Thanks for looking!
