I needed a way for customers to differentiate a 'card' from a packaged 'gift-card holder' (it isn't apparent while in cello bags to the casual customer) for an open studio this weekend. I came up with the idea of a poem, printed on vellum (so as not to obscure the packaged product), and taped over the front corner. I think it will do the trick. I also think I'll keep my day job... lol. It says:
"It's my privilege to wrap Gift-Card (or cash).
Slide it into my interior pocket;
Follow with your greetings and love,
Then fasten me closed by knot or bow."
Regarding this gift card holder: it is made from an envelope. Ribbon is tucked inside rather than tied into a bow (so it won't be 'wrinkled' when a customer goes to tie thier gift closed). 'How to' instructions are posted with an earlier posting of mine... http://gallery.splitcoaststampers.c...00&ppuser=19539
This holder differs as follows: a) inside of envelope is not wheeled; b) envelope has been layered onto CS to end up quarter-sheet size.
