June has been a busy month around here. This was a quick Father's Day card for my Dad. Broke out a set by Our Daily Bread Designs that hasn't seen ink for far too long.
Just as a bit of trivial information, the colours I used in this card happen to pretty closely represent the new paint job in my "Rubber Room". Three walls are "Baja Breeze", one wall and the pleated blinds are in "Crumb Cake" and the wall art will be in Chocolate Chip whenever I can make up my mind which quotes I want to use.
Punch tally: 2 punches, twice each; two nesties layered on the inside.
Thanks for stopping by.

I bet your craft studio looks fabulous w/these similar colors, Heather. I love that you left the image uncolored and just sponged around it. It's a great card and perfect for Father's Day.

I love your layers and especially your sponging around the central image and the sentiment panels.
The sentiment is so appropriate for Father's Day, and also really ties in well to the image.

So, this is what your craft room colors look like. How pretty Diz. You'll have to upload a photo of it when you get is "just so"!! Like that will ever happen, right? Whenever I get mine in better shape, I just mess it up again. I still can't find my sticky tape. It disappeared. And, one time I lost my boho blossoms punch. I thought Benzi stole it, but later I found it in my scrap drawer - Go figure huh? I never told Benzi I found it though - Tee Hee!!! Your card is lovely and such a perfect masculine card. That image is a knock out and I love the sentiment that goes with it. And, of course, I love the color combo!! Way 2 go my Dizzi Friend!! TFS!

Oooh, your new rubber room sounds gorgeous! If it has padded walls I may come along and bounce around a bit because I'm just about fried right now. Only two more days of school and I hope to be able to sleep in on Wednesday and/or Thursday because I'm getting a bit grumpy these days LOL!
Fabulous card! Love the sponging and double label use.
