The leaf image was stamped with Adirondack brown ink and coloured with Copic markers. I used my new Distressed Inks to sponge the edges.
Graph paper motif seems to be popping up in a lot of new dp's lately. I used the real deal for the second panel - took a page from my old Physics notebook, stamped with Sanded and sponged with Distressed Inks.
... something old, something new... nobody getting married though : )

How wonderful! You've created a beautiful CAS card with this image and sketch. Great sponging.. Nicely done!

A very beutiful card that is wonderfully suitable for a guy (always a challenge) so it has been placed into my favorites. I really love the distressed graph paper (and probably have some ledger paper that can be treated in the same manner).
Also, your coloring is very nice and I love the green against the brown.
