This is for the heat embossing challenge. Well this is embossing at the extreme IMO.
Each heart, which is a very nice chipboard button from ScrapFX is inked up real good on the front side, covered with either Stampendous Jeweled Gold ep or Stardust Transparent ep and heat embossed. Then I use my polluted clear ep for another coat on each. Then it's off to the good clear ep for 3 more coats. Of course heating after each coat of ep. I use an upside down hat pin to hold the button for coating with the ep and heating. So there are 5 layers of ep on each button.
Once cool tie the gold embroidery floss through the holes.
The turquoise strip is cut at an angle and mounted under the hearts, which are mounted with dimensional adhesive. I have stamped and embossed the sentiment directly onto the main card.
This is a technique I love to use on the chipboard from ScrapFx. There are a few more in my gallery.
