I’m so late for the Teapot Party. Birdbrain Bob already missed one train and isn’t about to miss another. So he called a few friends together in hopes that they can “build” a mountain of poop on the tracks to stop the next one. hehe Hope that’s not a pooper scooper on the front of that train! EEEE-Yikes!
This isn’t such a far-fetched story. Back in Junior High I had a Science teacher that passed this “rock” around the room. After everyone touched it, sniffed it and hopefully no one licked it, he then told us that is was actually not a rock but hardened bird poop! Caused one heck of a stampede getting to the sink to wash our hands!
So, Birdbrain Bob might just be on to something hereÂ…Â…if he had about 42,000 years to let it harden! heheÂ…Â….my cardÂ…..but first go here for the complete Birdbrain StoryÂ….
I have had a couple of bad days. My truck broke and a pool got vandalized. But all is back to normal. So, I was able to finally get this dang card out of my head, just a couple of days late! I stamped the WS birds on kraft cs, drew the scene around them. I used Kittie Kits for the foliage in the bushes. The Pooping birdies were colored with acrylic paint, as was the sky. The rest was either prisma pencils or gamsol with a few copics thrown in. Added some paint to the bushes too.
Versa marked and clear ep’d the train, smoke and tracks. The “faux” bird poop was done with enamel accents. No smell that way. hehe Do you know how hard it was to get those birds to poop in a pile? Let me tell you, it wasn’t easy.
Well sorry IÂ’m so late. Trains are just hard to catch these days! HeheÂ…Â…hope you like my crazy cardÂ…Â…TFL :0)

Bwaahahahahahahaa! (Well, about the bird poop, that is! -- not about the IRL crummy stuff.) I'm so glad that you found the time to release your creativity and bring another train! Whew --- certainly looks like enough bird poop to me!! LOL

Well hey, teapot gallery neighbor, you know what they say... when life deals you a load of poop, make a pile of it on the tracks. Glad your string of bad luck didn't thwart your sense of humor or creative genius. Love your story!

A card and story that funny is worth waiting for. Love the bird droppings. Last year I went to England and while I was there I toured around this amazing country estate that was built by a guy who made his fortune importing bat dung to use as fertilizer. It must have worked because his estate had 50 trees on it that had made this registry list of specimen trees. Maybe there's a future fortune in your pile of bird dung! Talking about shitty things, I sure hope your luck changes.

Aw, sorry you've been having a bad week. I was wondering when you were so late making it to the party. Hope it gets better from here on in. Such a fun Mutnik story and scene. And I love rubber is right, you could sell that stuff. Used to be a whole big industry, importing guano for fertiliser. With the current organic trend maybe Birdbrain Bob is onto a good thing and not so bird-brained after all.
Hope the truck is fixed. We have to take our car in for it's regular MOT (do you have those over there? Basic mechanical test, lights, emissions, tracking, tires, so on) tomorrow. If it passes first time without needing something fixed and a retest it will be the first time yet, but the mechanic couldn't find anything wrong, so fingers crossed).

Love your story, love your card, and especially love your resilience. Me, I would go stick my head under a pillow and feel sorry for myself. You, you take the pile of Sh** and use it to stop a train. Way to go!

I say you load that road block up in your now its working truck, head to the pool, drop it in and invite the vandalizers back for a dip! Although if you do that, then you will be late to next weeks teaparty cuz you gotta clean up the pool again! Darn it, never mind!
OMG! YOU are the goofiest of the goofy! No kidding! This is such a kick.......I am tickled that you stuck with it, cuz honestly my day is better having seen this first thing this morning.
If I ever get back to the Acardamy Award Winners Thread, this will most definately be there! My thought is........does she plan on sending this to Nancy? Rut roh!
Hey Sis......aren't you glad your sis is persistent, talented and off her rocker????
