Our congregation recently celebrated confirmation Sunday - I managed to get cards made for my nephews and a couple of the girls that were confirmed.
This one was stitched for our nephew - both he and his brother actually commented on their cards when they opened their gifts. Their Mom has trained them well!
The patterns for these stitched cards were purchased from www.stitchingcards.com and I stitched them with DMC Light Effects Embroidery Floss.
Thanks for stopping by to have a peek!

Another beauty! Wow such a great job you've done. Of course your nephews would comment on such special card made for them with love. You are making me itch to get stitching again, my friend.

Wow, Diz, how much time does it take to make these??? I guess you sit outside in a chair by your mailbox sewing away and waiting for zee punchez from deadbeat billionairess Benzi!! May as well do something productive whilst you wait!! LOL!! This is INCREDIBLE! What a beautiful cross you have made with the stitching. A real gem of a card Diz. TFS!

Beautiful stitched cross and isn't it wonderful for your nephews to notice and comment on the cards? Sound like very mannerly boys.
