Our congregation recently celebrated confirmation Sunday - I managed to get cards made for my nephews and a couple of the girls that were confirmed.
This one was stitched for our Godson - both he and his brother actually commented on their cards when they opened their gifts. Their Mom has trained them well!
The patterns for these stitched cards were purchased from www.stitchingcards.com and I stitched them with DMC Light Effects Embroidery Floss.
Thanks for stopping by to have a peek!

Oh more cards in your gallery yippee. This is a wonderful card. Great stitching. I love how you didn't add a lot of extras to this card - it doesn't need anything else. The gold is a beautiful contrast on the blue. TFS

Well, this certainly counts as tons of punching with all those stitching holes Diz!! Guess you don't need that sewing machine from Benzi since you seem to be able to stitch without one. This is a STUNNER and I can see why your Godson commented on it. Beautiful job!! TFS!

Wow, I love the stitching on the card. So elegant and creative. It reminds me of the crewel work and cross-stitching I was so into not so very long ago. Just gorgeous!!! tfs

These will be treasured cards for sure, Heather. They just wonderfully made and from the heart. BTW, I've been noticing Pamzi's 'deadbeat' comments concerning the Benz. I'll have to take care of that. LOL
