Greetings to you all.....sooooo cold here, so cards are such a nice way to spend a dreary day.
This card is for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge: http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com/
and uses 2 DP's and I have added some texture with the square of woven wallpaper. The oval shape is an embellishment with a centre image of a potted plant that is again cut from wallpaper, Die Cut flowers with brown pearls have been added, along with a little brown topstitched ribbon that echoes the topstitching along the DPs and wallpaper. Quite simple in some ways, but I think it has a "Country Charm" about it, that to me is pleasing to the eye. (Am I allowed to say that about my own card?) I certainly hope that you think so too.
Thanks for your continued interest in my cards, and your great comments. I certainly look forward to reading them

Lesley this is wonderful. I love the cranberry background color with this wonderful imagery. The textured piece adds a wonderful effect. So pretty and reminds me of the decor in a bed and breakfast inn I once stayed in a long time ago in New Hampshire! I absolutely adore this spectacular card. Great job with the sketch. Thank you so much for playing along with us at the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge.

Hello Lesley, your card is just gorgeous this week with all the texture on it. Makes me want to touch it! Lovely romantic colors and the addition of the metal embellishments really add such a pretty creative touch to this definately "Charming country" creation. I love to hear people using wallpaper for cards, that's such a neat idea.
Thanks so much for joining us again this week.
Hugs,
