Diane's card used for today's CAS challenge sketch is just so cute. I discovered that if you actually try to CASE it becomes very obvious how precise Diane was on her card. Sum2010CAS5 Water theme by fionna51 at Splitcoaststampers
I chose to use ribbons for my background panel because I seem to have too much ribbon lately and just want to have fun with it. I tried to mimic the curved top on the image panel like Diane's but could not figure out how she did hers so perfectly. Once I completed the card, I sort of realized that my image panel could be subconsciously interpreted as a gravestone given the sentiment I chose. Hopefully, the person I give it to does not think that.
To adhere the ribbon and prevent fraying, I applied to a sheet of scor-tape first and then trimmed the excess scor-tape. This stuff is sticky! I'm fairly certain that the ribbon will not fray because of that.

Great idea, using the ribbon! And no, a gravestone is FAR from my thoughts! Too cute to be one of those! Love it!
PS...check out the thread...I responded how I got the curved top to my image panel.
