This is for Susan/LateBlossom's One Layer Wednesday challenge to use a flourish on a card. http://simplicitybylateblossom.blogs...lourishes.html I don't own many flourish stamps, but I think this one from Elements of Style counts. We won't talk about how many tries it took to get the pink only on the flower and the green only on the rest of it... :P I was trying with different inks; markers were SO much easier! I'd also love to be able to add dimension to the hummingbird with shading and highlights a la Michele Zindorf, but after finally getting the flourish (almost) right, I wasn't going there. ;) The card measures 4 3/4" by 3 1/4", so I'll probably use it as a little gift card. Thanks for taking a peek!

Lindsey, this is so gorgeous! I love the two-toned hummingbird and it certainly must've been difficult to get only pink on the flower. I don't have markers so I know how difficult it is. You did a fantastic job!! Love the added ribbon.
