Poster: MrsBoz

"If you're going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair." (1967, Scott McKenzie) Do you remember the Mamas and Papas? Yellow and orange decor? Avocado green shag carpet? Green and yellow appliances? Ironing your hair to straighten it? Bell Bottom pants? If you do, then you lived in the 60's and are as old as I am!! LOL! Our Twisted Sistahs Challenge, presented by Shirley (Wannabcre8tive), was to make cards with a 60's theme. This new designer series paper from Stampin' Up! reminds me of some wallpaper I had in my kitchen in 1966.

The Ways To Use It Challenge was to use ribbon. I love using sheer ribbon. This ribbon came from Mark's Finest Papers. Thanks for taking a peek!!

Cute card, love that new dp. Ironing hair, I hate ironing clothes so the hair would have gone un-ironed. I do remember my sister trying that.
I also remember sitting in my high chair slinging oatmeal on Mom's harvest gold refrigerator and crawling on her green shag carpet. I think I must have been too little for those bell bottom pants you are talking about.

Love your card and the colors are just perfect for that era.

CA, I have got to say that YES, I do remember! The 60s were not a favorite time for me but it did have some good times too. California Dreamin was one of my favorite M & P songs. Awesome card and I'm with you, I love the ribbon.

Flowers in your hair I remember, but never ironing my hair. Such a groovy challenge and card!
