I just had to try a ribbon rose that Julia showed us on her card for the Ways to Use it Challenge - Raving on Ribbon today!
I didn't have any narrow silk ribbon - so I tried it with the more rustic/homespun saddle stitched ribbon.
I just covered a white card stock circle with Scor Tape, twisted the ribbon and pushed it against the Scor Tape as I laid it down in a swirl starting at the center. My center orange piece wasn't twisted quite tight enough but I like how it came out for my first try!
How fun is this!?
I embossed my Italian Note card (I forget the name of these notes?!) with a long rectangle Nestability and stamped my sentiment right on the card. I adhered the flower to the card with more Scor Tape to be sure it held on!
