I needed a quick card for my son in lawÂ’s first FatherÂ’s day and I had taken this photo about a year ago for the photo challenge in the photography forum on SCS and I thought it would be just perfect although golf shoes would have fit this daddy better!
The photo was printed on fine quality photo paper. I left a ½” white border around the photo when I cut it out, stamped on daddy and mounted it on black and then to the base…it doesn’t get much easier!
On the inside I used the computer to print out this sentiment:
The biggest and best job youÂ’ll ever have!
Happy FatherÂ’s Day
The shoes are my husbandÂ’s outside winter boots and the little white shoes are my sonÂ’s from so many years ago, heÂ’s been a daddy himself for twenty years!

That is just the most perfect and adorable picture Roxie. I can't believe you still have those baby boots--I am much too "not" sentimental and tend to hang on for a little while and then clear out. I did however just take a picture of my sons kicked off running shoes in his room cause he's heading away to school and they just looked all boy sitting there. I just love the sweet and simple card you've created with your picture.
