This card is a fine example of nature's original Lazy Boy Recliner!! This card is going to my brother in law for Father's Day. I stamped the image and then colored with Watercolor Pencils and then added a wet paintbrush and let the colors find their own spot. I sponged in clouds (even though I'm not very good at clouds) and made a mask for the sunset and sponged that as well. I chose the 2 DPs because the bottom one looked like grass and the top one reminded me of trees against a sky of blue which helped set the perfect backdrop for this image. Then I finished it off with the tabs of ribbon on each side to mimick how a hammock might be tied. The image was diecut with nesties and the I inked the edges with blue to add some depth and popped it up on dimensionals. I hope that my BIL likes this card enough so that it doesn't end up in the trash. He's not sentimental like that. He's a boy....do the math!

Ahhh! I can just feel myself relaxing, just by looking at this! Beautiful image and you did a fantastic job coloring it! I've just started watercoloring with watercolor pencils myself, even though I have had the pencils forever and always used them dry. I love the effect!

This card is lovely. I've never had as good a result with using water with my watercolor pencils -- will have to try again. Hope your brother-in-law will appreciate all the work you put in to this card.
Your coloring on this image is gorgeous. I am thrilled to see another person who loves watercoloring. So many people have turned to Copics but I still love my brush, pencils and inks. Congratulations on being today's Featured Stamper, I thoroughly enjoyed browing through your gallery.
