Congratulations to my fellow Punchkateer LESLEY, aka Marleygo, for being selected Queen for the Day, QFTD13!!!!! From your updated avatar photo, I can already see that you are wearing your crown well. I hope you are enjoying your reign!!
I loved the wooden frame you used around it, and the horse images, too!! It made me think of the new barn window frame-type stamp I received recently from my friend Lisa (aka lisaadd here on SCS) and knew that would be the basis of my CASE!!
So this card is going to be for my daughter's half birthday. She was born on Christmas Eve. The year she turned 6 we realized just how much her birthday got lost in the Christmas shuffle, so later that year we started celebrating her HALF birthday on June 24 with a family party and we've done that every year since. So on her half birthday she gets cake and ice cream (usually a massive sundae bar put together here at home) and birthday presents. And on her real birthday, we mark the day by taking her out for lunch at her choice of restaurant. It works out well!! So my soon-to-be-11-and-a-half horse lover's half birthday is quickly coming up, and this card will be perfect for marking the occasion!!!
In addition to the QFTD13 CASE, I incorporated five other challenges in this card. Details are below. (One challenge was Friday's Free for All challenge, which was, in essence, to make a window card. This is the first window card I've ever made!! You can see the inside of my card in its entirety here:

Emily, the rock star! What a wonderful way to honor your little horse lover...with half birthdays I love it. She must feel so very special and just wait until she sees this beauty you've created for her.
I feel like I'm out of touch with everyone. Nice to see you and your creations here.

Emily, what a darling card you've created from Lesley's gallery. Your frame is perfect and the ticket idea was ingenius. Yes, her avatar would suggest she's having some fun with her new status!

Wow, Em, what a super idea to celebrate her HALF birthdays! I have a daughter whose birthday is Dec 26 like Lesley's son, and that is a great way to make it special. Love your case of this sweet pony card for your daughter! TFS

6 challenges! Wow Emzi! What an adorable card and what a cool idea for your daughter. Things sound super fun at your house - I love sundae bars and people who care enough to make sure that someone isn't lost in the shuffle. What a great Mom you are!
