I am sick today and have a fever and probably should not be making cards, but I still have not found a job yet so I just could not pass up the opportunity to win a gift certificate for There She Goes Clear Stamps - not with a new puppy set coming out soon!
The Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #62 was to make a wedding or anniversary card. Since my in-laws' anniversary is in less than a month - perfect!
The images are from TSG's Make a Wish set, and I can't tell if the pearlescent paper that I ran through the CB is silver or tan, it depends upon how the light hits it, but it is pretty. I didn't have exactly the ribbon I wanted to use to I layered some sheer white with silver over black sheer ribbon and used some pewter Kaisercraft pearls (LOVE these things!!) to highlight the edges of the Labels Ten die.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my card. Happy Weekend!

This card is so elegant! I love the silver paper you used to emboss and the Nestie shape is wonderful. I think your in-laws will be suitably impressed with your talent! Thanks for joining us at SSC this week...hugs...Barb

Absolutely gorgeous card. Love how you layered the ribbon. The background paper sure looks silver to me. Great image. Your inlaws will love this. Thanks for joining in at SSC.

Sooooo pretty! Love that shiny paper paired with the ribbon and pearls--and the personalized "44" makes it perfect! Hope you got lucky with this one and got yourself a GC!
