C'mon down, Lesley, aka Marleygo! Congrats girl. How fun it was to spin that QFTD wheel and see it stop dead center on your name! Oh, wish you could have been there to see all glam and glitter as Ms Lesley galantly walked down the runway in her full length red velvet cape to receive her crown. Unfortunately, the Master of Ceremony was twisting and turning and looking so befuddled because Connie Jo had failed to return the crown in a timely fashion, shall I say.
Whenever your crown arrives, Lesley, wear it proudly. You have earned the right to be in the spotlight today. Your cards are wonderful and so are your comments.
With today's QFTD13, we're being asked, optionally of course, to craft a card with designer paper that reminds you of something you would normally do or experience during the month of June.
I was immediately drawn to this paper since it reminded me of a summer pinafore my daughter had as a child. I cant remember if I made it for her or if I purchased it, but the memory of that precious outfit lingers on to this day.
It's not often when I case a card using the same image the stamper used, but I just couldnt refuse this '07 Cookie Magnolia Lesley used. This is Lesley's BAKING COOKIES card .
Do you know Lesley is a mom of all boys? That right there should qualify her for this magnificent crown. Enjoy being queen today. Lesley, it's all about you! You're entitled to tell the guys to go make their own dinner!
Sweet Linda/Snail, sent me this precious metal/bling crown I've attached to Tilda. Thank you, Linda. That was so sweet of you!
Enjoy Lesley!

Anne this is just so cute. Your little baker and her wonderful crown are adorable. DP is yummy and the bright yellow bow and ribbon pop right out. Fantastic card in honor of Queen Lesley.

Great card--the crown was perfect and the colors are so happy, Anne. What fun this challenge is, too. I thought we were supposed to write a story--ooops--I made one up.
