Every year I make bookmarks for my customers, who earn or order catalogs from me at the start of the catalog year. I usually try to showcase a new set or new colors. This year I decided to make the bookmark very practical. With all the new colors available, I wanted to make sure that my customers could get a little taste of them.
This bookmark is double-sided and showcases the new core colors (minus crumb cake and the returning in-colors) and the new in-colors. There are five colors shown on each side. The top of the bookmarks is the new 2-3/8” scallop circle punch cut in half and some of the new taffeta (marina mist, daffodil delight and early espresso). I created a document and printed the color names and circle punch guide on crumb cake. Then it was just a matter of cutting the bookmarks to size and punching out all the circles. I wanted to recess the circles, so they wouldn’t catch in the catalog when being pulled in and out.

What a wonderful idea and I love how it turned out!! Thanks for sharing the directions as I might have a go at this. It would also be good to highlight the new in-colors each year.

As a brand new demo, I'm just amazed at this project. What a great gift for your customers! I'll have my first group meetings in the fall, and this would be a perfect welcome for the members! Thanks for the idea, and for the detailed instructions and template. You're wonderful to share!!
