The F4A challenge today was perfect - I was able to use up a card blank I'd cut an aperture from to get a layer for matting, and also the gesso resist background I made last night.
A2 Bazzill base. Stamped snail from Unfrogettable, then stamped Inspired by Nature with Versamark, and embossed with clear EP.
I cut a plain green oval to layer behind the scalloped aperture, and added Liquid Pearls at each point.
Gesso resist was done with the same grass stamp, stamped with Vintage Photo, embossed with clear EP and then sponged with Peeled Paint, Broken China and Old Paper. Today I stamped on some dragonflies with StazOn black, and then gussied them up with some Sakura Stardust pens, which doesn't really show in the photo. Stamped a HA sentiment and rounded the ends.

I love the liquid pearls. They really pop on the scallop. And the gesso resist bg is totally awesome and the deep dark dragonflies are just perfect here. Wonderfully executed!

I can almost feel the breeze on those grasses, Sabrina. love the 'window' treatment, but most of all I love the depth you created with the scripty page and gesso. Very well done!
PS...better keep that gastropod on your side of the pond...I've declared war over here...my delphiniums need all the help they can get!
