This is a birthday card for a special friend. I love this Key paper by Graphic 45 and went with that theme. As I was working on this it made me realize how much I loved Art as a child and have loved it all my life. So ART truly is the key to my heart.
I glued the Musical paper to chipboard before I cut the birdcage and bird. The tiny keys hanging from the bottom of the birdcage are punched with a punch. I attached them with metallic thread. I used an X-acto knife to cut some of the keyholes so you can see all the way through the card. This was a work in progress over several days. I take my time and add a little something each day. When the card was finished, my pet Cockatiel looked over and said - "Something is missing" - - and graciously donated the soft down feather for the birdcage. "Birdie" did the wolf whistle in approval. Now it's complete! hehe
Thanks for stopping in today.
Your time and comments are always appreciated.
Thanks
Deb
