I spent WAY too much time on this creation. I wanted to try and get it to look like my clematis. I used SU!'s new design series specialty paper and log cabin smooch spritz and that is how I did my lattice. Punched the flowers and centers. I used twill tape to make my little picket fence.
Today is kind of a sad day as it is my mom's birthday and she has passed. It is a happy day, too as she would love this card and I have lots of happy memories. My mil's birthday is a week from today and this will go to her. Her fav color is purple and she loves chlamatis. I told her mine is blooming beautifully. She wishes it was in my front yard as she can't make it to my backyard due to health issues. I will include a photo of my chlamatis with my girls and pooches for her too.
We need to be thankful for all the wonderful people who are in or were in our lives.

Pam, this is such a beauty!!! It was certainly worth your work. You pictured that gorgeous clematis of yours and created one of your own. This card may well be one of my favorites of yours. You have taught me a lot, and one lesson is that we should not give up when something is difficult. You card is a beautiful reminder of that. :>)

This is STUNNING, Pam!! All of your hard work and long hours were worth it. Your MIL should flip for this!! I think it looks exactly like clematis. So wonderful that you were thinking of your mum while making this. Isn't that the wonderful part of crafting?? You should be so pleased with this beauty.
