It's time for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge again this week. I loved the sketch Priscilla provided and, even more, the beautiful image she sent me to use from her store found here:
The image was coloring and cutting friendly. I always love that because I hate to cut in little spaces. I was nervous about making a card using Priscilla's image, but it seemed to all come together. In fact, had you joined the Midnight Madness Dance Party you would have gone from this:
to this sparkly and dazzling fairy. So, see, it does pay to go to da party!!! Priscilla looks much better as a fairy than the lady in the bug with the yellow stickle hair!!
Here's the link if you'd like to join in the sketch challenge. There is an intricate sketch and a more CAS sketch so everyone can play. We hope to see you there! Remember, you, too, could look like a magical fairy if you join in!! LOL! http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com/...llenge-57.html
I used a gold linen paper for the top half of the card and some purple card stock from my stash. I used the swirls ef on the 1st purple panel and the script ef on the purple mat for the image.
I stamped the image twice and popped her up on dimensionals. I colored in the image with a perfect plum marker and added lots of gold and diamond stickles to her dress and wings. A lot better than that yellow stickle hair she had in that last card, don't ya think?
I used the Fleur De Lis die cut with the linen gold paper and alternated the other die in the set above and below the image. I used the Vintage die cut corner pieces with the same linen gold and placed some gold pearls on them. I used 2 different ribbon treament and 2 vintage hearts.
I promise next week's card will not have "purple" as the last 2 I've created had purple. Just trying to play up to da boss I guess!! LOL!!
I think that about says it all. Thanks so much for visiting and thank you Priscilla for letting me use this beautiful image.

Ooh, Pam....outstanding!!! I love the purple with the gold linen paper. Priscilla is looking awesome. LOL . Love the heart charms and pretty ribbons. The die cuts really look beautifu and added so much. Great use of the stickles. Although, you said the cutting wasn't bad, don't you wish you could have waved that magic wand and had it done instantly? It wouldn't do for me to have one of those. I love your card...it is a
beauty!

Pam this is really stunning! You've done such a gorgeous job with Priscilla's ballerina fairy, especially with the purple and gold and the fleur de lis edge border. Beautiful heart embellishments and gold pearls.

Love the image and how you used the fleur de lis die and signed it with your half pearls. Nicely done Wish we all had a magic wand we could wave to get things done! Housework, yardwork, laundry, dishes etc. would all be done and leave all day for stamping

Pamzi, this is magnificent!! I love your gold and purple color combo. So very royal looking, perfect for a fairy princess. The fleur de lis die cuts were just the right touch for this card. Quite a magical transformation from the old lady with the glittery hair LOL!!
