Okay, it was time to make another Dragon card for Nicholas who always (well it seems like always) receives a homemade dragon card for his birthday. I wanted to try the Black Magic technique and continue to have fun with my distress inks, color wash, and glimmer mist! So the dragon was made with using Black Magic and I used the Clear Star pen to add shimmer! The flame is a black and white clip art image that I sized to fit two nestie rings. It was printed on white card stock, cut out and sponged using SU and distress inks. I did spay a bit of color wash on the edges, heat, and applied a bit of pearl glimmer mist on top. The background paper was created by using the wrinkle-free distress technique. I also sprayed color wash and glimmer mist over top, and stamped the splotch behind where the dragon and fire was going in distress ink.
Thanks so much for looking and letting me know what you think!

Oh this is such a great card, Treena. Yes, you sure put a lot of work into your cards and it shows. I must try this Black Magic technique - it looks really cool - Tfs.
