The featured stamper this week is Nikki Schmaltz - quite a talented stamper! I chose to CASE her card here: Fabulous Quite Contrary by nikkischmaltz at Splitcoaststampers. I was drawn to the pleated ribbon and the ghost shape that she used. I used Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge for my layout and Stacey's Curtain Call Color Challenge for the colors (White, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery & Night of Navy). After I cut the Nestie in the CB, I left the shape in the die and sponged Bashful Blue lightly around the edges. The ribbon treatment is a fun new method I learned about at Stamp Club yesterday morning. You lay a red sticky tape strip on the card, then pleat ribbon along the strip - so easy and so fun!
