Hi! This is a double challenge card. 1st it is for today`s sketch challenge brought to us by Roxie based on a card done by Shelia. Read about it here. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...d.php?t=493145
The second challenge is for the Crafty Creations Challenge which was to use black and white with a splash of red brought to us by Georgia. You can read about it here. http://craftycreationschallenges.blo...splash-of.html
Thanks ladies! Great challenges!
I used the set from SU called Watercolor Trio. Used the dimple punch on 3 corners and matted in red and popped it up. I used Dictionary DP from 7 Gypsies and matted in black. My middle layer is Dooodlebug DP. I added a pouf flower to my main image and used these dot embellishments from MS. I added gems to the flowers on the middle layer. I used Doodlebug DP on the inside and envelope. Thanks for looking and have a fabulous day!

Judi, your card is gorgeous! The patterns and colors catch the eye on the gallery page(but your cards always do) Love the pouf flower and the matte-looking MS jewels(like them more than sparklies). A very distinctive card!

Judi, this is fantastic!! I love how you added your splashes of red to your black and white card (I'm afraid I used more than just a *splash* of red on mine!). Such great text (dictionary!) DP and a really cool way of using that watercolor trio stamp. I love how you added the pouf flower right on top!! Wonderful use of today's sketch, too. Nicely done :)

Hey little friend, I love what you did with that splash of red!!! Very pretty papers, Judi. You do have that "ladidah" thing going on...as in how elegant and classy are we down in North Carolina!. Love it. It was a blast having you on the phone this morning...no crying now. LOL
Just wanted to tell you that your link on the crafty creations challenge is sending us back to the blog itself...might want to ask someone there to fix it for you sweetie. Hugsxo
