Lovely sketch today - and a great chance to use some paper Lorraine sent me for my birthday.
5 3/4" square. Papers are Welcome Neighbour, images Good Neighbours. I stamped the house and trees with distress inks (Fired Brick, Vintage Photo, Peeled Paint, Weathered Wood) and chalked in the grass and sky. Layered two of the panels on green Bazzill and stitched with pale blue. Stitched the base with wine thread. Punched the striped panel with the decorative scallop border. Tried out buttons and brads and so on, and in the end these little ODBD dogwood blossoms that I'd cut out over the weekend fitted in well. Image panel and blossoms popped up on foam. I added a HA sentiment in black ink at the bottom of the striped panel. With my stripes, I am including this also for the ODBDSLC15 to use stars or stripes. I rarely use striped paper, it's always something I find a challenge to use.

Oh my Sabrina, cool looking paper. What a sweetheart Lorraine is to send you such pretties! I know you always come up with things I would never have thought of, and that is the magic of SCS, being inspired by what our friends do quite brilliantly I might add. Aced that sketch now darling! TFS hugs from across the sea.
