Thanks Ksnurse for another exciting Tuesday Teapot challenge, based on a true story of a missing flamingo. Find more details here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
It seems two flamingos fled the Sedwick County zoo. One has been located and is being observed. Ramon is still on the lam, and Sam the zookeeper is mighty frustrated at not doing his job well.
I found these adorable birds that Sam is using, carrier pigeon fashion, to get a message to Ramon. They thought they located him, but, alas, it is just another pink bird and not THE flamingo. Poor Sam. He needs a different solution, but I am sure there is a teapot partier who will find a better one!
I found this image at Crafty Corner, pre colored, but was not able to figure out the download w/out the logo, but I covered it with my sentiment.
The palm tree came from a stamp grab bag - no markings.
Since I had to cut with scissors this was a perfect card for distressing: http://www.cinspirations.blogspot.com/

I always say if you don't have a flamingo go for the pigeon.Wonder just what is in Sam's message as those pigeons look almost shocked!
Like the bkgrd. paper you chose.

What a fun interpretation of the story! And APANDI is right, a pigeon is a great stand in for a flamingo... at least here in Michigan there seem to be a lot more pigeons than flamingos! Love your happy summer colors.

Would I use my sentiment - only to the right person! Possibly a teapotter, with the excuse that it was a tea-party card.
Smiles is right with this, those carrier birds are adorable. It's lovely ribbon, too.
