I have never tried this technique. It was fun and I like the results. I will definitely try this again. I was not going to play because I usually don't like my 45 minute VSN cards but my great friend Kris talked me into it and I'm glad she did.
I cut a separate 4 1/4 square panel, did the techique then sponged it in Walnut Stain ink then adhered to the card front. I found the Distress Ink made the embossing pop. How fun.

This is beautiful. I love the Fleur De Lis and the sweet lily of the valley stamp. Great colors too. I'm glad you enjoyed this technique.

Oh, Lisa, this turned out beautiful!! See, I told you VSN was fun!! I just love love love the colors you used. Not your typical brights, but you work these colors great too! You aced that technique... I feel like I need to give it another shot with different colors now!
